Cage Cartridge Filter
A cage cartridge filter combines a structural metal cage support with a pleated filter cartridge used in cartridge dust collectors. The cage supports the pleated media to prevent collapse and maintain effective filtration, especially under high airflow and pulse-jet cleaning conditions.
Working Principle
Dust-laden air enters the filter housing and passes through the pleated cartridge. Particles are captured on the media surface while clean air flows through the cage structure. A pulse of compressed air (via solenoid valve and timer) reverses flow to clean the media. The cage prevents deformation of the element during high-pressure cleaning.
